Hello Joe - 

There are a lot of other bug events. I haven't herad you on the air in a long time and would 
love to have a bug-bug QSO soon!

There is that west coast op's bug event in November, there is ARRL straight key night; 
There is the new February Novice RIg Roundup; there is the monthly Weekend Sprintathon 
by SKCC, and there are weekday sprints (SKS.)

All encourage the use of bugs. That should keep you fairly busy!
