Night of Nights starts at 5:01 PM PDT Sunday 12 July 2015, (6:01 PM RDT,
7:01 PM CDT, 8:01 PM EDT) or 0001Z Monday 13 July 2015.
Once a year the Maritime Radio Historical Society returns stations KPH, KSM
and KFS to the air. Other stations including WLO, KLB, NMC, and NOJ often
join in. In 2007, Coast Guard station NMN was also heard for the first time
since the US Coast Guard ended the use of Morse. Calls from ships at sea
make the event seem as if the golden age of maritime radio has returned.
Night of Nights (NON) celebration info can be found on
http://radiomarine.org/.
Local visitors can go visit starting at 3 PM Sunday 12 July 2015 until
closing time.
