My search for FCC MM 13-249.

It looks like reply comments due middle of January.

I just heard of this.  It seems to want to change AM MW Broadcast to
digital only format.

IBiquity has had In Band Digital for years.  Broadcasters who want that can
buy it.

I wanted to buy an AM HD receiver but none were available for tabletop use
except for FM only units and I rarely listen to FM except to listen to
Texaco's Saturday Afternoon at the NY Met Opera.

Analog range is much longer on TV and broadcast radio than digital mode.

Read the comments of the Republican FCC commissioner, everything he says is
a reason NOT to go digital.

The FCC has really drunk the kool-aid it seems.
