Are you talking about SKN?  My fist is atrocious!  I dug out my Begali HST and set the switch to sideswiper mode. The result, off the air, was worse than atrocious.  So, for SKN I'm using the same key, but keying it like a straight key, but sideways, using my pointer and middle finger. The result is better, but still not very good. I've met some very tolerant hams from NC (2 of 'em), HI, CA and UT, and then one, WB7NZI, from across town right here in Blaine WA.  I've never met Frank before.  That long QSO made the whole SKN effort worthwhile. He was using a Begali Spark, which he can pet like a cat, and he also did well on a J-38.
