Kate and fellows: I heard some years ago at somewhere that just a 1% of telegraphist would suffer Alzhaimer or madness because we are activate constantly several zones of our brain avoiding these disorders. 
I am 24 years old man but I think that's correct. I have thousands of QSOs with very old operators at CW and perfectly clear and coherent.
