Not nice reminding me of the hurts along the way of learning some of
these skills, David.
My thumb nails will never grow smooth, but I have not lost one in quite
awhile!
And, there are some people who should not touch sharp or pointed tools,
too! ? I have
my days like that. I remember one afternoon, several years back. I was
working in the yard
and I don't remember the original damage I did to myself. But, I came in
and my late wife
got me a cuppa Joe or a cold drink. I proceeded to try and sharpen my
machete when
I rested and cooled down. After I cut my thumb twice, Bev said, "Put
the tools down and
get on the air. Its safer, Joe."
