I know I've asked this in the past, but I still need the
information.
I have a Curtis KB-4900 Keyboard / with built in Keyer, it can be used for
Morse, Baudot and ASCII.
Most of the key combinations are printed on the metal of the keyboard
enclosure, except for at least one that I need to know.
I do not know and have not found the key combination to program the four
memories, labeled A, B, C, and D, nor can I program the key marked "ID".
I had a DGM MKB-2000 and SRT-1000 keyboard, to program you just pressed
Control + one number from 1 to 0 (zero), the zero (0) memory was used for
the call sign.
So if I was on the SS KING, I could program memory zero (0) for WAKL, the
ship's call sign.
Then I could quickly call WKM (West Haven, CT Radio) on 500 kHz and the
excellent operator would hear me at 40 wpm and snatch my traffic quickly
so I could get off watch and eat. :-)
Anyone have any information on the Curtis KB-4900 keyboard?

David
