[CW] Lightning Deluxe questions

The upper jeweled bearing has no screw to align it vertically as it did
prior to 1948, all alighment must be done from the bottom alignment screw
accessed through the hole in the base under the trunnion.

After that date (1948), no vertical alignment screw with slotted top, no
round knurled lock thumbnut, only a threaded red plastic piece that screwed
into the threads of the trunnion yoke and the bearing,
I believe just screwed on from below with sufficient torque to be fixed and
inmovable.

After 1990 or so the machined red top piece was elinated and replaced with
a red button like piece that is glued with Duco cement.
