Seems to be a replacement for the highly useful 160m to 70cm FT-897D.

Updated DSP, roofing filter, color display spectrum dislay.

It would be nice if it had USB for keyboard and firmware updates,
capability to do most of the digital modes.

The other rig that has been out for a long time is TS-2000.

Still has CW in it.  The FT-897D is a decent CW rig, but finding the
controlls can be difficult.  Nifty Manual highly recommended.
