I have seen them go for as much as $1400.00.

$400.00 for a Mac S-600, I guess PC stands for platinum contacts, would be a great price.

Was it in good shape, or missing parts?

MRHS had on display there a beautiful McElroy S-600PC bug. I didn't even know what it was at the time (other than a bug). It has an oval chrome base.

I fell in love with it instantly, and would like to have one in great condition to add to my collection (and actually use it!).

A couple of weeks ago, I found one on eBay (hope it's okay to say that here).
The seller had a "buy-it-now" price of $400.
I wasn't willing to pay that much. It was re-listed at least once before he put it up for auction, and it sold for $335.
Does that price sound right? I know that sellers have to price items 10-13% above what they expect to sell them for, due to the eBay and PayPal fees.

Any information on this type of bug would be appreciated. And, if you have a nice one to sell, I'll pay a fair price for it.
