After visiting the Maritime Radio Historical Society at both the receive
and transmitting sites back at the end of May, we also visited the
visitor center at Point Reyes National Seashore.
MRHS had on display there a beautiful McElroy S-600PC bug. I didn't
even know what it was at the time (other than a bug). It has an oval
chrome base.

I fell in love with it instantly, and would like to have one in great
condition to add to my collection (and actually use it!).

A couple of weeks ago, I found one on eBay (hope it's okay to say that
here).
The seller had a "buy-it-now" price of $400.
I wasn't willing to pay that much. It was re-listed at least once
before he put it up for auction, and it sold for $335.
Does that price sound right? I know that sellers have to price items
10-13% above what they expect to sell them for, due to the eBay and
PayPal fees.

Any information on this type of bug would be appreciated. And, if you
have a nice one to sell, I'll pay a fair price for it.
