     Sometimes called an intangible.  I suspect "immaterial" 
is a bad translation of something in another language. The 
problem is that it has a well defined meaning in English, 
particularly legal English, which is not what is meant here.
     Anyway, I am doing my part to preserve Morse, at least 
Continental Morse, by practicing and using it on the air.
