[CW] Morse code may become immaterial world heritage

Last IARU conference in South Africa is decided that country 
representatives will stimulate to start procedures in their country  to 
get recognition of Morse code as immaterial world heritage by UNESCO.

Is the procedure started in your country?

You can't expect anything from phone-only-appliance operators I think, 
the action has to come from people that want to preseerve this piece of 
communication history in order to keep it alive. So please ask your IARU 
ham radio or ex radio officers club what their action is.
