CW only first 25 kHz, narrow until the 'phone bands, wide up there where
there's no narrow modes. >>

Problem is, I doubt that the FCC is interested in further micro-managing the
internal affairs of the amateur radio community with additional sub-bands
and  sub-sub bands. If anything, they would prefer to get rid of subbands
altogether, like it presently is on 160m. As a matter of a fact I fear there
are people within the FCC who would simply prefer that we didn't exist, one
less service for them to "administer" and enforce rules.
