Subject: [CW] Really DC rather than CW: EFJ Telegraph Learner Sets

Yesterday I bought two E. F. Johnson Telegraphy Learner Sets, Johnson
Catalog Number 114-110, at a going-out-of-business sale held by a local
private school.

They are on reddish-stained pine bases. The keys both have shorting
bars, and are made of brass. The sounders appear to be made of steel or
iron, with the company name and location ("E. F. JOHNSON CO", "WASECA,
MINN") stamped or engraved on one side of each armature bar. The
underside of each base has a set of connection diagrams for single- and
double-set operation.

One set is missing the return spring for its key. Neither has been
treated gently, and both have been grossly maladjusted in the setup. Any
hints or links for getting a replacement return spring for the key will
be gratefully accepted.

Some images of them can be seen at <http://mikea.ath.cx/EFJ1>.

Does anyone else here have any of these?
