[CW] USA News FCC Seeks Changes in MF Amateur Band (160m) and New LF band (2200m)

I saw that. Another thing is about the acceptance of test elements for 
life.   What is not good news is that they are going to reassign 
inactivated calls to anyone who wants them ,and qualifies,  after only 6 
months instead of the two years, which I think is already too soon.  All 
too often you work someone, thinking you have done so before, and then 
find its some newbie who has been assigned the call. The reason I took 
my N call is because it had never been assigned to anyone else in the 
amateur service.  Lots of W and K calls were available at the time, but 
I believe those belong to their long term holders, and are considered 
their names in ham radio.
