[CW] The "slap slap" of Morse lamps

So true, but one must also realize we "talk" to one another more often 
than we used to.  Not only are we on the air, but here on this 
reflector, and many others, with more widespread readership than we 
could ever dream of face to face, one on one, even by telephone, SSB or 
CW.    This "texting" that we see todays generations doing, is spreading 
multi-generational but with fewer words and less intelligence being 
transferred.  Its almost as if they are "mutterers" and jut hope someone 
else is listening in.  And, sadly it is causing less face-to-face 
communications amongst friends and family.  he one thing I note is they 
do not understand the damages they may be doing themselves, now or in 
the future.  Once written down, its never undone, sporadic thoughts 
popping out of the mind, thru the keyboard of a portable phone unit can 
be very embarrassing in the future.
