Unfortunately, the same thing has happened to everything in our lives. Morse 
is not needed for a ham license, have you tried to fix your car or anything 
else lately?  Face to face communication is all but dead.  We text people 
across the room.  I could go on but that's what's wrong with our society; no 
attachment to the past and to each other.  We are on the "what's in it for 
me" and "how can I get more for me" track. Sad.
