Hi Dave,

There are two code practice oscillators for sale on ebay,
the MFJ-557 which is the type I bought for a friend in Fiji.
It has loud volume if for a class room, and a control to
tone it down.  Variable, great sounding tone.  Plug for
ear phones silences the speaker.  Battery operated, but
a plug for 12vdc.  Cheap MFJ handkey, but altogether
