That Japanese can only be slowed down by putting a half dollar on the end of the vibrator. Has to be QRQ.

It's a matter of personal taste. I prefer rotating, that is to say, changing keys after a period
-- to get some variety. I select between my Swede Key, J-38, Junkers and a few others.
Often have a few lined up beside each other, all connected in parallel. Now have a J-38 along
side my Vibroplex, Japanese "coffin" bug and one of my el-keys, a Squeeze Key. The Vibro. is set for moderate speed, the Japanese set for QRQ, because it has very light feel.

Hey All,
I am looking for a good straight key. I have used mostly keyers and Iambic paddles (Bencher / Vibroplex) for a long time. I was wondering if I could get an idea of what you all think is the BEST straight key. I am looking for the best feel or action. I have an old Signal Company key - but it is not very smooth.
I hope I am making myself clear?
I do not want to tie up the reflector - so please e-mail me directly at:

Thanks
