It would be interesting to find out how the W1AW at ARRL does it. And what about the FCC, when they did give the tests? The word PARIS, as I explained before, is exactly on the average of 5 letter code groups, but Morse may be closer to actual English Language averages, but I couldn't come up with what that actually means, without counting letters in several English publications, of different types, and trying an average by dividing by 6.

1983 Wireless World article titled "Did Morse get it right? A statistical background to the code"
The author (A. S. Chester) actually found that "Morse" would be statistically closer than "Paris"
after an analysis of several European languages (baud count-wise).
I was joking when I mentioned morse as an alternative but it seems the author wasn't.
