If one wants to increase one's call sign copying ability, practice with Morse Runner. Google the words to find the URL.
If one wants to increase one's ability to copy text there's plenty of URLs for that plus one can get on the air and get in a QSO at a speed slightly higher than ones comfort zone.
I find Craig's idea of reading a bunch of call signs trying to commit them to memory is an exercise in futility.
Not everyone shares Craig's interest in copying 100+ wpm and knowing half the callsigns in LoTW.
I can easily copy 40+ and often get in a QSO at not that speed but at least 30 wpm.
I find that relaxing. I doubt I could relax if I was trying to do 50wpm.
It's a hobby, Craig. Do what you want to pursue ham radio, it's all out there.
I would ask DR not to remove me from the list because I like the bunch on here, maybe all except for one.

Subject: [CW] CW MEMORY BUFFER
What happen to all of the guys that came out of the woodwork yesterday to bitch, moan and groan.
Now that a subject related to morse code speed copy is posted, nobody has anything to contribute except myself.
I put it all out there letting guys in on how I am obtaining higher speeds with call sign copy concerning the memory buffer. You can obtain the same development of the buffer by doing the same daily exercise with words. Actually words are much easier unlike call signs that are so random.
Guys like HB and the gang; what do they have to add to society and the hobby? Are they just here on earth to bitch about everything from here on out until their demise.
Craig, AH8DX
