[CW] OT - Germany and the D Call Signs

1990 when DDR did not exist and all the call signs were again D call signs.

What's even more amazing - at least in my mind is the DDR existed from 1949
until 1990 - 41 years and it has been 21 years since 1990 now.  In my mind
the 41 years seemed so much longer!

What a joy happened in Europe during the 1990s.  Something very very good
that was sleeping awakened.  I hope it continues and spreads.

I went through my QSL collection hoping to find a card from West Berlin -
those were the amazing people I think.  I didn't find one - I guess I should
have sent out more cards!
