Thank you for sharing the SOWP's spark tribute to Richard Johnstone; hypnotizing.

It bears mention that conductor Vladimir Ussachevsky added an antique spark generator spelling out Morse and short wave radio sounds to an arrangement of Wagner's "Parsifal" in 1960 that was commissioned by the DeForest Pioneers to celebrate the birth of wireless. It is available on vinyl recordings as well as on the Internet.
