[CW] Need help to identify a one paddle key

Last year we aquired this Hi-mound MHK831.......new in the box unused ...

We found only one other photo of a MHK831 on the net..

I think it was made about 35 years ago ....  an letter with photos to HI-mound in JA land got no response ...

Does any one have any history on this key/paddle ?

  Yup, a Skilman, Lafayette, Hi-Mound, EF Johnson (and possibly others) semi-automatic bug, missing the plastic cover.  Looks like a cap on the key contacts to help eliminate pitting at the contacts (also seems to soften keying).
