60 wpm on a straight key ?
Maybe, if you had an advanced form of tamed Parkensons Disease or just have a bad case of the shakes!
What would that be, let's see:
[(60 wpm x (5--8 letters)per word + wd spacing] x [ (1--5 characters + char. spacings) per letter, number or punctuation) ] / 60 seconds) ~ = 12 key movements/second, i.e your wrist/hand/fingers would have to "vibrate" vertically at aprox. 12 Hz to achieve 60 wpm!
Good luck.
Greetings,
Henry, OZ1UF Cph.

If you can copy CW at 60 wpm, you should be able to send it at
that speed by hand!
Good luck on THAT one now! Presuming "by hand" is by "straight key", 60 WPM would shatter the current world record by over 10WPM.
