Subject: [CW] Tim Soxman, W3ZVT
I haven't seen this announced on any of the email lists that I belong
to, but our friend, Tim Soxman, W3ZVT passed away on September 19th,
2009.
Tim was an avid CW operator, and telegraph key collector, he also
repaired old keys - better than new, he had made beautiful
reproductions of some rare keys like the Vibroplex Midget, and Wire
Chief's Special (Vertical Vibroplex) as well made parts for Vibroplex
of Alabama, and produced the Vari-Speed and other devices for
Vibroplex. He also made the SOX key and other items for Morse
Express.
He died as he wanted at home, surrouded by his wife and family and his
beautiful and beloved dogs. He was a rich man, he had time to tell
him family that he loved them and that he knew that they loved him.
Rest in peace, our friend, may God's blessings give you great DX,
beautiful fists everywhere to work and no QRM.
I know where you are going will not require air-conditioning.
