Actually, "Hej'" or "Hej, Hej" is the modern way of saying goodbye in Danish whereas "Farvel" is still used but is a bit old fashioned, formal, and sometimes used to mean '"beat it!/get lost!"

73s,(Hej, Hej) de Henry OZ1UF, Copen.

      Morning All!
Years ago I collected about 20 or so different language phrases which were basically the equivalent of "good bye" in English. I put that list somewhere so I would be able to find it. Well, guess what?

I currently have the phrase for SM OH SP DL PA LZ EA PY OK. It might be of interest to others to expand this list as I've found it solicits a friendly "hi" from the distant station if I can at least say good bye in their language. I've used Babel for the languages it supports but there are obviously many more....some quite common.

      Any help?

      Thanks and good bye.
      Tony, W4FOA
