      Well, for JA stations you could say, "Sayonara" of course.  I also sometimes say, "Ganbatte" which means good luck or do your best...

        I currently have the phrase for SM OH SP DL PA LZ EA PY OK.  It might be of interest to others to expand this list as I've found it solicits a friendly "hi" from the distant station if I can at least say good bye in their language.  I've used Babel for the languages it supports but there are obviously many more....some quite common.

        Any help?

        PS: Even more years ago, I know there was a book available which had many phrases from many languages but it is probably now a collector's item?
