Hello Michiel,

You have some wonderful suggestions.

You can find the W1AW mp3 files here:

http://www.arrl.org/w1aw/morse.html

Each file has two links. The first link is used for streaming audio --
click on the link to have the player play the code practice as it
receives it. The second link is used principally to download the
code-practice file to disk for later playback. (In Windows,
right-click on the link to the file you want to save to get a menu of
options.) Not all MP3 players will treat the two types of links
differently, and some players may not work on one of the link types.

Now for the REALLY good part.

There is also a TXT file.

Print out the TXT file and while the code is being sent, read the TXT file.

This way you'll reinforce your learning ability by using both your
ears and eyes.

Try a speed you can copy well just to see how it is done, then try a
speed slightly higher than you can copy.

Don't worry about not copying the code - you have the answers in the
TXT file. Just keep reading and listening.

There also some GNU or freeware programs which will allow you to take
some text and convert to Morse code. Use these in the same way.

Print out the text you will input and read it as you listen!
