Hello David - Happy New Year to you and all on the reflector.
Do you also have a list of the worst fists you've heard? If so, I don't
think it would be a good idea to make it public!
I often (try to) QSO with ops on the ham bands who have nearly
uncopyable cw "accents." Some can even screw up sending with
electronic keyers and keyboards by not keeping proper character
and word spacing.

I think the British - were the best on hand keys - perhaps the lovely
PS213A which was the station key at the various and many coastal
stations in the UK was part of the reason.
The Americans were known for their Vibroplex sending - listeners to
the ham bands might occasionally hear some of the best fist around.
Here is a partial list of some of the best I've ever heard: W1HDC,
W1YT, W2HXI, W2LYH, W4AX, K4AX, W6AX, W6BNB - are some that come to
mind.
The sending of these men have brought tears to my eyes it is so good -
all of them were either Navy, Western Union, or Merchant Marine /
Coastal Radio Telegraphers at one time.
