[CW] use of AR

Oh Joe,
Don't spoil all of the fun. Some folks just love to get their "shorts in a wad" over stuff like this. I think it has been a chuckle a minute on here for these past few days. It will soon be time to "rehash" the BT, SN, KA prosigns discussion. Just QRX 1 AR SK ( or is it VA) .

Hey lets not get too carried away with amateur procedure.
If you like what you do, do it. Somethings do evolve...tho

  W1AW V AA4NN
  W1AW de AA4NN
  W1AW AA4NN

The meaning is clear, forget procedure, it's not a traffic net,
it's a conversation between two CW ops.

Brevity. That's why we went from a J38 to the bug, easier to do.
  Lets us talk faster, too.

In a voice conversation with another you wouldn't say:
"Okay, I'm done." (AR), your turn to speak (K). "Over and out",
that went the way of high button shoes and valve trombones.

I personally think using (KN) is obnoxious, effectively saying
I'm talking and I don't want any interruptions. Leave us alone.
I doubt anyone would mind being interrupted using (K) if it
were a good friend, and I believe most people who might
want to talk to one or the other in a QSO would simply wait
unitl the conversation ended. In a net, (KN) might be needed.
Calling CQ and ending with (KN) is pretty dumb.
