Marshall, something is going wrong at google in general. It is not just the caps lock key. Maybe they just got too big and decided they should command things but more likely it reflects the training that went into the next generation of people. I have used their googleChrome browser for a while now and at first it seemed great, but more recently I have noticed that pdf files do not download right and do not always save as pdf files either. Also page down functions go too far sometimes and you are likely to miss text in between. Also you sort of have to go around the block to print anything with it. That is probably a function of the training the kids got in school not to put things on paper but I think it just leaves the door open for faster revisionist history propagation.
Anyway, there are some issues with google's leadership. The caps lock key is a useful function I would not want to see disappear.
