This link will take you right to it...

Do take the time to look at the rest of the stuff on the page.

Thanks for the post Dave !

I wrote John Alcorn, VK2JWA about his book - I should have bought it years ago, but I did not.

He told me that it is now available for free at   http://phonetic.org.au/alphabet.htm

Hi David,
Thanks for your email.
No I have no more copies left. Not even a good one for myself.
My copy is well used and water damaged. HIHI.
I'm now 70 YO and don't see me getting time to produce a 4th Edition.
I only have about 4 - 5 pages of extra info accumulated since the last one.
New 'old' info is getting very hard to come by, I keep looking.

To give people a chance, since a new edition is unlikely, I have put the whole book as a free download on my web page.
It's a pretty big file 7+ megs PDF. Item 7. on the index.

When (if) I get the chance I hope to progressively update the online version to add in what I have extra.

I've noticed many Russian hits to my webpage, curious,  so checked up.
It's the only URL that is subtended to the Russian version of Wikipedia on 'Phonetic Alphabets'.
I took that as a serious vote of confidence. Very pleasing.

Thanks to you, and others, for the contributions to the CW / radio groups.
Very interesting, always good, even the way-out or arguments. HIHI.
TKU CUL
73,
John.
