[CW] Vintage equipment CW calling frequency?

Hello Ron,

This was the original premise of my proposal, not a structured net or even a time/day lock; just a simple calling frequency for when the mood moves you, you can plop down and stand a reasonable chance of hooking up with someone using classic equipment. Indeed it may morph into a roundtable on some occasions, which is fine.

Apparently someone is reading my posts because I am beginning to hear vintage activity on 3599. When busy I slide
plus or minus as my crystals permit although I know the "plus" puts me in the insane "Extra Only" (cough, cough) phone band.

By the way, for those wanting excellent crystals contact Mel at MH (909) 989-1976. Mel has ground 15 or 20 crystals for me over the last 3 years and does great work (although lately I have been successful regrinding my own surplus FT-243s.)

Has anyone given any thought to a "Regular" or 'Semi-regular" roundtable? Not a net in the classic sense. Say once or twice a week or just as people show up? It would be nice to have a place to stop by and say hello ( in vintage CW of course...) It might be fun!
