Who taught you that?

I learned my prosigns from ACP-124, and the prosign "K" is defined as
"Invitation to transmit".

Having said that, I agree with the numerous observations in this thread that
this is AMATEUR radio, so who really gives a rip how you terminate a CQ?

Last I heard, ARRL is not a regulatory agency, so I take their instructions
and manuals as "polite suggestions" about how I should operate, not as
authoritative requirements.
