[CW] Willow Island Activation

Our club is activating US Islands, with commemorative QSL cards, until
October and wanted everyone to know we had a blast this
weekend from our reactivation of Pelican Island.

We worked around 5 DX stations including France, Italy, Mexico, Japan and
Canada along with many US stations as well. Around 300
contacts in all from 9am Central until around 1700 Central time. Using only
one transceiver, 100W and a dipole up 20 feet.

This weekend Sep25th2009 Central time we will be working a new activation
(never been on the air before) from Willow Island

( "TX061L" US Island designator). 

Starting around 1400Z until around 2200Z.

Dx stations please look for us this coming Saturday around 9AM Central Time.
I hope to be operating on 30 meters QRP, but shouldn't
be a problem from the Island for DX or anyone else for that matter. 

We will also have guys on 40 meters phone and 20 meters phone.

If I can I will try working CW on 40 and 20 as well. Somewhere around 7050
and 14050.

WHY NOT USE THE COMMON IOTA FREQUENCIES ?
