[CW] Do it all rig recommendations

Hi all,

I am kicking around the idea of purchasing a small "do everything"
transceiver to use next time I am traveling on the mainland. Last time I
used a dual band VHF/UHF FM rig which was very helpful on the road,
getting directions and coordinating with another ham who we met up with.
Next time I want that same capability and I also want to be able to
throw a wire over a tree branch and have a CW QSO while I'm camping. I'd
like to have those capabilities all in one box if possible. There are
several JA manufactured rigs available that have that basic
functionality as far as band and mode coverage. What I like like to know
is which ones have the best CW operation. I like to operate QSK or
something like QSK. These little rigs are all short on front panel
space, and have a minimal number of control knobs and buttons which have
multiple functions requiring menus and sub-menus to get to some
essential functions. I would like to know which rig has controls and
menus that work nicely for CW.

Thanks,

Ken N6KB
