My friend, W4FOK, Jim Farrior has a wonderful program called "The MILL" and
I've decided to mirror his whole site as it is mainly dedicated to
radiotelegraphy and wire telegraphy.
For those who are not familiar with the program "The MILL", it is a DOS
program that teaches and sends American Morse and International Morse codes.
But there is more - even though it is just written in BASIC then compiled to
a DOS file, it is the most amazing program that I've ever seen. The
typewriter you copy on has telegrams on it, it has a flashing light from a
ship in ASCII graphics.
it is c-l-a-s-s-i-c DOS programming at its best.
Here is the link http://mikea.ath.cx/www.n1ea.coastalradio.org.uk/w4fok.htm
All the pages have been uploaded to the mikea.ath.cx (sound files) server,
but I haven't corrected all of the links in the pages, so you'll actually be
going back to Jim's web pages for a while. But soon I will get the rest
corrected. I just didn't want you to wait.
He also has some nice books available for download in "DOC" file format
which can be opened by Microsoft Office or Open Office (which is available
free of charge on the internet).
