[CW] Radio Recommendations Requested

IC706 MK2G current model - best selling rig ever - "chunky QSK" but
not terrible.

IC-7000 DSP rules!  But I've heard that AM operation is terrible!

People tell me that the Kenwood rigs are very good.

But for the money, I'd get a '706 MK2G and put up with the clumsy QSK.
 The other radio that has 2 meters/6 meters - all mode - and decent
QSK is the IC746PRO.  But having 432 MHz in some areas is nice because
of the Wide-Area Repeater linking common on that band.

Again, my reluctant choice (because the IC-7000 is better selectivity
and smoother QSK) is the 706MK2G.  Check with Ten-Tec - I hope they
clone a 706 done the TT way!
