Is anyone using an Icom IC-7000? I like my 706 mobile but don't like the
keying. Does the 706 allow you to select from mode A and B or is it stuck
on just one?
It is difficult for me to use iambic keying while running mobile for some
reason and I have to use an old Vibroplex non iambic paddle with the 706
while running mobile so I don't get the extra dit.
If the 7000 would allow both I might consider getting one at Dayton. Mobile
CW is my favorite style of operating.

"You see, wire telegraph is kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his
tail
in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles.
Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send
signals here, they receive them there.
The only difference is that there is no cat."
