Having the QRP frequency at 7.040 is not a good idea.

The RTTY band for Europe/Africa, Asia/Oceania is 7035-7050 kHz.

Pactor is 7037 kHz for ITU regions 1 and 3 - and for communications
between region 2 and those regions. (Region 1 is Africa, Europe,
Russia, Middle East west of the Persian Gulf (excluding Iran), Asiatic
Russia, and Mongolia, Region 2 is NA/SA including Hawaii, Johnson I.
and Midway, and Region 3 is "China and South East Asia and Oceania -
the rest of the world".)

The frequency of 7.040 kHz is listed as DX RTTY in every band plan
that I can find on the internet, but I cannot find that frequency
associated with anything else.

I do see 7050 kHz as "crystal controlled" frequency - and that is used
by both military/boat anchor types and QRPers.

40 meters world wide is only 100 kHz wide - and with the restriction
on some USA hams to only be allowed above 7025 the pinch is even
tighter. SSB is from about 7050 to 7100 and the other half of the
band has to be shared with RTTY but these days SSB edges down to 7045
or so.
