[CW] Clean Sidetone Osc. Wanted

Hello!

Looking for a very clean sounding sidetone oscillator, circuit or otherwise, for
higher speed CW. Tired of listening to the muffled sidetone noise out of the
FT-1000D I use now & then. Not a problem with speaker or headphones, my Ten Tec
gear & ProIII sidetone sound well enuff at high speeds. I use 450Hz to 500Hz.

The "Smooth Tone Clickless CW Sidetone Generator" from Cook looks like it may
sound healthy at higher speeds?

Any ideas, other circuits, complete external units (excluding another rig,
unless you want to buy a FT-1000D for CW) ?
