Hello SSN friends,
Hope everything is fine with you all, here is my report concerning the SSN
sessions today on 14055 kHz.
* 1600 UTC:
N6SL, the best signals received from Ben since he moved to Florida, RST
peaking at 559! Deep QSB and noisy band but I've been able to copy a
complete over without any difficulty. Ben and yours truly were extremely
happy to exchange season's greetings on the air. Ben, that was wonderful
indeed, I was so happy to listen to your great "steak knife" CW again, a red
letter day! No other SSN stations heard at either end.
* 1700 UTC:
Conditions changed, I think Jim, K3CKT, and Ben, N6SL, were there, but
signals were below noise level and too much QSB to copy, too bad! Hope you
had a nice QSO together, any other station worked / heard?
Well friends, I wish you and yours a very merry Xmas, a prosperous and
healthy year 2008. I wish us a much better propagation in 2008, conditions
seem to improve slowly, guess it's not hopeless. Thanks to our chairman Jim,
K3CKT, who is doing his best to catch us through these very poor conditions.
BCNU during next week or next Sunday, till then, all the very best to
everybody and take care,
73 de Yann, F5LAW.
