As an afterthought, I recall that Harold Bride stated in newspapers
and in testimony in both the American and British inquires that
Phillips sent the CQD and SOS at 15 wpm so that everyone would
be sure to understand it.

Guess it's time I to go back and re-read all those great stories and
the official transcripts again.
