Hi List Members,
Does anyone have a schematic or information on the Memory Expansion to
the Autek MK-1 Keyer? I have the manual and schematics for the basic
keyer, but nothing on the memory expansion. I have acquired one with
some parts missing in the expansion area. It appears that the original
2102 static memory chip is removed and a small pc board is connected to
the 2102 socket. On the small pc board is a MM5257N 4K x 1 memory chip.
Another chip goes in the socket that connects to where the 2102 was.
This chip is missing (whatever it was). Also I am not sure if there were
any mods to the original base pc board for this expansion. Any help
would be greatly appreciated. This is a great keyer.
As an aside, any hams in the Riverside, CA area - I will be starting a
"Learn Morse Code" class on a 2 meter simplex frequency in a couple
weeks. Join in if you wish. I believe the frequency (unless objection)
will be 145.520 MHz on Wednesday evenings at 19:30 or 20:00 PDST. There
is a voice net that starts at 20:30. I am awaiting the Technicians that
have shown interest to select the starting time. Contact me if interested.
Thanks es 73,
