[CW] How to clean and repair a Bencher keyer

Is there anyone out there that has any suggestions on how to clean a
neglected silver colored (base) Bencher Iambic paddle? I don't have a manual
for it. It looks like the contacts have been filed. Can they be replaced?
Any suggestions would be welcomed? Does someone know of any websites on the
upkeep of paddles and or keyers in general?
