The cable made for stage microphones is perfect. It comes in matte black
covering and will fit the sutable XLR (Cannon) plugs or a 1/4 inch plug. It
also is bullet proof. If I ever replace a cable, I use this stuff, I've
never had it fail in commercial sound use or in ham use.
I am sure if you ask, Bob Heil from Heil Sound would sell you a small amount
or give you the part number. I used to buy the stuff made by Belden,
although I later changed to a Columbia cable. I don't know the part numbers
of either - but a good electronics distributor should be able to find the
correct cable for you. I was only able to find the cable by using a good
salesman at my electronics distributor who contacted the manufacturer for me
and found the perfect cable - stage microphone cable, strong and very very
flexible because it was designed to drape beautifully on the TV or theatre
stage.

Subject: [CW] Flex Cable Source?
Greetings;
What (who?) is a good source for flexible cable, 2 and/or 3 wire, for keys?
The stuff that I have is too stiff and I'm really getting tired of it.
A cable with a diameter that would fit a 1/4" plug nicely would be great.
