[CW] Packed Bands

Last night during New Year's Eve (SKN), the bands - 40 and 80 - sounded like 
they used to sound during the 1960s: Crowded.

If we had activity like that maybe the FCC would be scratching its head and 
thinking maybe there is something to this CW thing.

One fellow that I QSO'd had a code reader that his wife gave him for 
Christmas - now she can see what he is talking about!  He was using it to 
monitor his code - catch any imperfections that he might not notice.  His 
code was very good.

We were both on Straight Keys - and he told me he was sending at 18 wpm and 
that I was sending at 23 wpm.  For a lark, I went on the Vibroplex and sent 
to him, he said that the speed was 35 wpm.

There were some wonderful fists out there - I also heard and contacted HP1AC 
on 40 meters entertaining the guys with a little DX while they exercised 
their CW muscles.
