But will there be increased demand? 

In 2000, all but the 5 wpm code test was eliminated *and* the written tests 
went from 5 to 3. Written testing for the Technician was cut almost in half, 
written testing for General cut by about a third and written testing for Extra 
cut by about 40%. Yet we're down more than 18,000 US hams since then.
